Warranty Policy

Quality and Manufacturing Warranty

All pieces crafted by Joyería Real de XIV come with a twelve (12) month warranty from the date of delivery, which exclusively covers defects attributable to the manufacturing process.

The warranty includes:

  • Structural manufacturing defects.
  • Failures in welds or assemblies.
  • Stone detachment caused by setting defects.
  • Failures in clasps, closures, or mechanisms resulting from manufacturing.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Natural wear and tear caused by daily use.
  • Bumps, falls, or accidents.
  • Scratches or deformations resulting from use.
  • Damage caused by chemical or abrasive agents.
  • Loss of stones caused by impacts or misuse.
  • Modifications or repairs performed by third parties.

Each case will be evaluated by our technical team to determine the origin of the incident and the corresponding application of the warranty.

Commitment to Conformity

If the delivered piece shows substantial differences from the specifications previously approved by the client, Joyería Real de XIV will make the necessary corrections at no additional cost, with the purpose of ensuring that the jewel faithfully corresponds to what was agreed upon.

Our goal is for each creation to exactly reflect the shared vision during the design process.

Initial Size Adjustment

For engagement rings and wedding bands, we offer a first size adjustment free of charge within the first sixty (60) days after delivery.

Inventory Products

Pieces acquired from inventory that have not been modified, engraved, or personalized may be exchanged within seven (7) calendar days after delivery, provided that:

  • They are in perfect condition.
  • They show no signs of use.
  • They retain their original packaging and corresponding documentation.
  • They include certificates issued with the piece.

The acceptance of an exchange or return will be subject to prior inspection by our team.

Certified Diamonds and High-Value Gemstones

Diamonds and gemstones acquired specifically for a personalized project, as well as those accompanied by international gemological certificates, are an integral part of an individual selection made for each client.

The client will have the opportunity to see, review, and inspect the corresponding diamonds and/or stones at our facilities and may reject them at this time if they are not to their liking and/or do not meet the agreed specifications.

However, once delivered, they cannot be returned or refunded, except in the case of verifiable discrepancies between the corresponding certification and the product received.

Maintenance and Preservation Service

As part of our commitment to the durability and beauty of each creation, we invite our clients to have their pieces periodically inspected.

These inspections allow us to verify:

  • The security of the settings.
  • The condition of the stones.
  • The functioning of clasps and mechanisms.
  • The overall condition of the jewel.

Preventive maintenance significantly contributes to preserving the integrity and value of each piece over time.

Joyería Real de XIV offers 1 complimentary maintenance service during the first year after purchase.

Custom Pieces and Made-to-Order Manufacturing

The essence of Joyería Real de XIV lies in the creation of unique jewelry, crafted specifically according to each client's indications, preferences, and specifications.

For this reason, pieces manufactured under special order or personalization are not subject to return, exchange, or refund once their production process has begun.

This includes, among others:

  • Engagement rings.
  • Wedding rings.
  • Custom-designed jewelry.
  • Pieces with custom engravings.
  • Designs developed from photographs, sketches, or specific customer instructions.
  • Pieces manufactured with individually selected stones or materials for each project.

Design and Specification Approval

Before manufacturing begins, the customer will have the opportunity to review and approve the project's specifications, including materials, dimensions, finishes, stones, engravings, and other relevant characteristics.

Once this approval is granted and the corresponding advance payment is made, the order will be considered final and will enter production.

Order Cancellations

Due to the artisanal and personalized nature of our creations:

  • Advance payments are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations cannot be made once the manufacturing process has begun.
  • Materials acquired specifically for a project will remain assigned to it.
